The premiere exhibition of the paintings by a young artist from Spiš - Paulína Halasová, is presented in the dramaturgical cycle New Names - New Myths. It presents expressive figural paintings from the world of fictitious women: the author artfully combines realism with comic style and ironic reference to pop-culture phenomenon. Art historian Mgr. Jozef Ridilla characterizes Halasová's work from a purely artistic perspective as a "hedonistic celebration of life and creation."

The title of the exhibition is based on the same conceptual painting You Deserve Art! that belongs to the series Flower Revolution (2013 - 2014). The provocative "password" has become a major connotation of the project. Works from the series Parallel Dreams (2014 - 2016) combine comic stories with the world of women, blurring the boundaries between reality and dream. The author says that "in the works, the characters get rid of the trap of social status and live some dreams of them." According to the author, the works are "like cut-out sequences from the film, that together form one complete story in a symbiosis with new forms of art such as film or comics." The most numerous is the series of paintings called Mermaids Dust (2016 - 2018), where Halasová interprets the myth of the present day with the imaginative combination of living beings with the "soul" of nature, combining bizarre fantasies about man and wonderful beings. The bearing one is the concept of a cycle of life that "never ends ... because life is a fantasy world that we don't have to invent."
