JEDLIČKOVCI / A Dialogue Across the Three Generations
Presented for the first time, the exhibition showcases the creative dialogue in paintings, sculpture and graphic between three generations of the Jedlička family from Moravia – the father Quirin sr., his sons Petr & Quirin jr. and his granddaughter Eliška. The exhibited works range from expressive figural compositions, abstract intimations of mood and artistic hyperbole to sensitive depictions of fragility and ephemerality. JÁN POLOM: The Four Seasons
The exhibition of works by the renowned Slovak painter focuses on their connections to the Spiš region, an environment which had a fundamental influence on the formation of his iconography. The Spiš region was an intrinsic part of his sensibility, thinking and creativity; ever-present in his very essence, it is manifested in his work through the full gamut of possible effects – from irrational subconsciousness to conscious identification.

MICHAELA ŠURANSKÁ & KRISTÍNA MIČOVÁ: Do You Think the Sun Is Yellow?
United through their long-standing friendship, the two artists also share a fascination with the mercurial nature of landscape, with their mutual inspirations intersecting in multimedia installations. While Mičová explores subjective experiences and the transience of the immediate moment through found objects and artistic or literary observations, Šuranská focuses on the liminal spaces between human occupation and nature across both time and space. 3 (DIS)COURSES OF WOMAN
The exhibition interprets a series of paintings, sculptures, photography, drawings and graphics from the Gallery’s collection by 42 artists which focus on the three pivotal stages of a woman’s life: childhood, adulthood and old age. The exploration of the passage of time emphasises the transformations and the various roles which women play over the “course” of their lives. VIKTOR ŠEFČÍK & ESTER: Florebit Sicut Lilium (Hosea 14:5)
An exhibition of the work of two artists (father and daughter) who draw inspiration from the morphological details of the world of plants. Large-format drawings, paintings and objects reflect upon the fascinating intricacy and elegance (and also the cruelty) of nature, a theme which is currently a key aspect of the creative processes of both artists. DESIGNERS
The exhibition presents a wide spectrum of approaches, ranging from artistic designs to industrially produced works with spatial and graphic design, in works by 16 designers – teachers of the Department of Design at the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University of Košice. Dialogues with Hanula
The exhibition presents works by artists from the late 19th to mid 20th centuries found in the collection of the Gallery of Spiš Artists, and the artworks are placed in dialogue with other pieces by Hanula drawn from the collections of the Liptov Gallery of Peter Michal Bohúň in Liptovský Mikuláš and the East Slovak Gallery in Košice. The site-specific exhibition is based on the artist’s long-running participatory projects. HUMAN ANIMAL III. / BUZZ OFF, BUG!
Works by 24 artists from 5 countries (CZ, HU, PL, SK/RS) reflect upon the ambivalent relationship between mankind and insects within a framework of psyhological, mythological and environmental associations.
SEVERAL GREEN RECORDS OF AN OVERSIZED BLACK BOX
The exhibition project reflects on the idea of the world as a dystopian black box hurtling towards catastrophe by examining the search for “green” alternatives in works by 12 artists from 7 countries (SK, CZ, USA, UK, ES, EE, DE).
ZBYNĚK PROKOP: “GRAPHIC SCORES”
Experimental works by the multimedia artist as a direct reflection of music. The title of the exhibition echoes the transformation of the artist´s images into sound, which is an essential part of his art works.
FROM MIMESIS TO HYPERREALITY. ACQUISITIONS IN INTERACTION II., 2017 – 2021
The educational interactive project presents the works of 21 artists from the collection in three thematic cycles: Face to face, Biomorphic Forms and Photographic Experimentation, Industry. The 35 selected works represent the 35 years of the Gallery´s existence.
SUPERHEROES

ARTIS MONUMENTUM
This documentary exhibition on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Gallery takes a retrospective look at the various activities of the Gallery from 1987 to the present day. The exhibition presented photographs, articles, texts and other documents.
ROBO KOČAN: STORIES IN DEPOSITORIES
Illustrated stories, the search for contexts and confrontations in works in the depository which together formthe Gallery´s own Room 101. A fascination with still lifes from encoded and layered artworks which the artist captured during the Digital Gallery project.
EDITA VOLOŠČUKOVÁ: LABORATORY
The personal dilemma of the artist in relation to fine art and the natural sciences is reflected in her unabated interest in and meditations on contemporary global affairs, their trends, and on the consequences which these “modern” events bring about.
HUMAN ANIMAL II. / THE WOLVES ARE FULL, THE SHEEP ARE SAFE, THE PIGS ARE LAUGHING
