Recordings of glocal fragments, obtained through immersion in the dwelling places of some bizarre neighbours. The passion for collecting, breeding and hunting reflects wider social relations and serves as a pretext for the elaboration of nex conspiracy theories.
LIMITS OF SURREALISM / Emil Sedlák & Karol Baron
The exhibition interprets works in the Gallery´s collection by artists whose creative approaches follow in the footsteps of surrealism. The artists´ dilemmas over their stance towards creativity and life reflected in graphic works, paintings and object.
HUMAN ANIMAL III. / BUZZ OFF, BUG!
Works by 24 artists from 5 countries (CZ, HU, PL, SK/RS) reflect upon the ambivalent relationship between mankind and insects within a framework of psyhological, mythological and environmental associations.
SEVERAL GREEN RECORDS OF AN OVERSIZED BLACK BOX
The exhibition project reflects on the idea of the world as a dystopian black box hurtling towards catastrophe by examining the search for “green” alternatives in works by 12 artists from 7 countries (SK, CZ, USA, UK, ES, EE, DE).
ZBYNĚK PROKOP: “GRAPHIC SCORES”
Experimental works by the multimedia artist as a direct reflection of music. The title of the exhibition echoes the transformation of the artist´s images into sound, which is an essential part of his art works.
FROM MIMESIS TO HYPERREALITY. ACQUISITIONS IN INTERACTION II., 2017 – 2021
The educational interactive project presents the works of 21 artists from the collection in three thematic cycles: Face to face, Biomorphic Forms and Photographic Experimentation, Industry. The 35 selected works represent the 35 years of the Gallery´s existence.
SUPERHEROES
An interpretation of the theme of heroes in a wider historical and cultural context in selected works by 24 artists from the Gallery´s collection. The exhibition also features works by three foreign artists (CZ, EE, DE).

CENTENARIES
The exhibition offers a re-evaluation of the works of “centenarian” artists from the Gallery´s collection, seeking out genres, thematic links and also parallels in the archival materials.
ARTIS MONUMENTUM
This documentary exhibition on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Gallery takes a retrospective look at the various activities of the Gallery from 1987 to the present day. The exhibition presented photographs, articles, texts and other documents.
ROBO KOČAN: STORIES IN DEPOSITORIES
Illustrated stories, the search for contexts and confrontations in works in the depository which together formthe Gallery´s own Room 101. A fascination with still lifes from encoded and layered artworks which the artist captured during the Digital Gallery project.
EDITA VOLOŠČUKOVÁ: LABORATORY
The personal dilemma of the artist in relation to fine art and the natural sciences is reflected in her unabated interest in and meditations on contemporary global affairs, their trends, and on the consequences which these “modern” events bring about.
HUMAN ANIMAL II. / THE WOLVES ARE FULL, THE SHEEP ARE SAFE, THE PIGS ARE LAUGHING
The international project offers a survey of a trio of animals (the wolf, the sheep, the pig) which are connected not only with local agrarian traditions, as represented in the works of twenty artists from five different countries. Part of the Theme cycle of exhibitions.
NADIA ROVDEROVÁ: FOTOFATAL & SUZANNE PASTOR: PASTORAL

TEACHERS AND DOERS

Ivana Sláviková’s exhibition, part of the “Profiles” exhibition cycle, is a poetically immersive experience which connects past and present, examining different levels of personal experience.
